    At the lovely home of Renate Harshaw and Michael Gerhardt 6;30PM
    We will share traditions from our native countries and a silent auction with donations from some of the club’s artists will be held at the party. All profits benefit the Home of the Sparrow. Please bring a generous plate of appetizers, main dish, or a dessert AND one bottle of wine, cham-pagne, or other favorites per person and if you wish also a CD with holiday music from your coun-try. Friends and spouses are invited as well!.

    National Museum of American Jewish History Tour
    101 South Independence Mall East, Philadelphia 3:00PM
    This new museum is the only museum in America dedicated solely to telling the story of Jews in America. We will do a guided tour and afterwards enjoy a delicious and special four course dinner at the modern Israeli restaurant Zahav, which is located at 237 Saint James Place, Philadelphia.
    Spouses and friends are welcome!
    The cost for this event is $73.60 per person, which includes dinner, tax and gratuity. Please send your check, made out to IWCP to Ilse Farrell, when you reserve your spot.

    Van Gogh Up Close - Exhibit of the Year
    Philadelphia Museum of Art, 26th Street and Benjamin Franklin Parkway 10:00AM
    Join us for a guided tour of the most talked about event in Philadelphia this winter: Van Gogh up Close. This exhibit focuses on the artist’s tumultuous years, when Van Gogh left Antwerp for Paris. A period of feverish artistic experimentation. After the tour, we will have lunch on the East Balcony of the Philadelphia Museum of Art. Spouses and friends are welcome!

  • At the Audrey Claire’s COOK Cooking school
    253 S. 20th Street, Philadelphia, PA
    In a collaborative cooking class with celebrity chefs as teachers we will learn special ways of mixology, knife skills, or the art of creating a sauce. The intimate setting of COOK is an ideal laboratory for learning. We will explore and taste. Details to this event will be published in a separate email soon. This is a unique opportunity.

Note: Please bring new, unused, unopened, clean hotel toiletry articles collected on trips to the potluck events. These will be used for gifts to the Home of the Sparrow shelter sponsored by the club.

 

For any language coffee, you need not be a native or fluent speaker, only interested in speaking the language.
